Grants are projects that the Gratiot County Community Foundation help fund every year. Each one has a set of guidelines and applications to fill out in order to obtain a grant.

Competitive Grants
The Gratiot County Community Foundation is interested in funding projects which will improve the quality of life for the citizens of Gratiot County. We hold 3 competitive grant cycles each year supporting creative approaches to community needs and problems which will benefit the widest possible range of people.
The deadline for the next Competitive Grant Cycle is February 1, 2024.

Youth Advisory Council (YAC) Grants
The Gratiot County Community Foundation welcomes grant applications from area youth, which will be reviewed by Youth Advisory Council members, for community service projects implemented by area youth. Any youth group that is a non-profit or affiliated with a non-profit organization may apply. (e.g. Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, 4-H clubs, churches, schools, etc.)
